A Whole Food, Plant-Based Meal is composed primarily of whole plant foods.
Think potatoes, corn, oats, rice, wheat, beans, peas, lentils, squash, carrots, beets, all other vegetables and fruits, nuts and seeds–basically any edible part of a plant from the root, leaf, fruiting body and seed.
This does not exclude animal foods, but it switches the focus of your plate so that the main part of your meal is not the steak, but instead it is the rice or potatoes or grits.

Aimee is a trained baker, pastry chef, vegetarian chef and whole food plant-based chef. She has multiple certifications in whole food plant-based nutrition. She has experience with sustainable, organic growing practices, composting, foraging, fermentation, pickling, sourdough, and more. She loves creating new, simple, fresh, satisfying meals using whatever produce is available. Her strength at adapting led her to create a webinar on deconstructing recipes to make healthy wholefood plant-based meals more accessible; and creating individualized meal plans for others.

Apart from her culinary qualifications, she is world traveler, and her dishes are influenced by her experiences in various countries.

Aimee is trained in Yin Yoga instruction, following the methods of Bernie Clark. She is certified in CPR/AED, and holds a Personal Trainer Certification with National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
